The main questline can be started by entering any of the main holds past Level 10 (you will be approached by an Orc named Durak, asking you to join the Dawnguard). In total, there are ten achievements tied to the Dawnguard expansion, three of which are tied to story quests and another for completing a lengthy side quest. Earning one Daedric artifact unlocks " Daedric Influence," while collecting all fifteen yields " Oblivion Walker." Please take note that the latter of these is considered missable since some of these quests can have the option to refuse the reward. Upon completing their quest, you will be awarded with that Prince's boon/artifact, powerful weapons or equipment items that are unique in their design and abilities/stats. In regards to the Daedric artifacts, there are a total of fifteen side quests tied to the Daedric Princes. There is also the Civil War subplot, which similarly yields three achievements. Each of these factions have a lengthy narrative subplot to play through, all of which host three quest-related achievements. As you travel from hold to hold completing these quests and objectives, you're bound to encounter the main factions of the game: the Companions, the College of Mages, the Dark Brotherhood, and the Thieves Guild. These are " Bleak Falls Barrow," " The Way of the Voice," " Diplomatic Immunity," " Alduin's Wall," " Elder Knowledge," " The Fallen," and " Dragonslayer."
